The Delhi university is facing shortage of permanent lectures from past few years. However, it is believed that this issue will be resolved shortly. A letter was sent by the varsity to the principals of the all colleges in order to tell the exact requirement of the permanent faculty.
On 4 June 2013, a letter was sent to the college principal according to which they have to give the complete information regarding the necessity of the permanent teachers and the enhanced workload. So, that the vacancies should be advertised.
However, some teacher find this information to be a farce as similar promises were done in the October of the last month but no action has been taken against it.
