Dibrugarh University, came into existence in 1965 is amongst the premier Universities of North East states of the nation. The University announced admissions to six month Pre-registration course work of the Ph D and M Phil in 18 and10 subjects respectively for the academic year 2012-13.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should possess Post graduation degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate from recognized University
- In addition to this, candidates must have qualified in DURAT or NET-JRF.
Application Fee and Mode of Payment
The application fee is Rs 100 and can be paid in cash while purchasing the application form from the office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic) of the University. Besides this, the fee may also be submitted through Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Dibrugarh University in State Bank of India, Dibrugarh University branch (Code 2051) along with downloaded application form.

- Besides, application form can also be obtained from the office of Deputy Registrar (Academic) of the University through cash payment.
- Admission seekers must send the completely filled-in application form and DD (In case of application downloaded from the website) to the Head of the Department or Director of the Centre for Studies concerned so as it reach within the specified time span.
