Primarily, you have to divide the overall syllabus into two parts:

Take ‘The Hindu’/‘The Indian Express’/‘The Times of India’ or any famous novel and read it regularly. Write down the new words and their meanings along with synonyms and antonyms and usage of a word in a sentence and revise it regularly.
Keep an eye on grammar rules exceptions
SSC sometimes asks questions based on certain exceptions to a certain rules of grammar. For tackling such questions, you should have in-depth knowledge of such grammar rules and their exceptions.
Revise general topics
SSC exams ask not only grammar questions but also questions from one-word substitutions, idioms/phrases, synonyms and antonyms, spelling mistakes etc. You can easily score in these areas if you have revised adquately.
For complex topics, consider various test series
There are numerous test series available in the market that offers questions of difficulty level from simple to high. You can opt for practicing various mock tests or Olive board test series because they offer standard questions with explanations.

Do you know that sometimes SSC asks similar questions to previous year questions. Hence, solving previous year questions is very important.
