PRTC, Bangalore Notified Recruitment to 10 Various Posts 2015

Parachute Regiment Training Centre (PRTC), Bangalore invited applications for recruitment to the post of Cook, Washerman and Barber. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format within 20 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.

• Closing Date of Application Forms: within 20 days from the date of publication of the advertisement
• Closing Date of Application Forms for far flung areas: within 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement

Pay Scale:

• Cook: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900
• Washerman: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800
• Barber: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Cook: Candidate should be 10th passed or equivalent from a Recognized Board with knowledge of Indian cooking and proficiency in trade.
• Washerman: Candidate should be 10th passed or equivalent from a Recognized Board and must be able to wash Military or Civilian clothes properly.
• Barber: Candidate should be 10th passed or equivalent from a Recognized Board and proficiency in Barber trade.

Age Limit:

• The candidate’s age should be between 18 to 25 years as on closing date for receipt of application.
• The age relaxation will be given according to the Govt. Rules and Regulations.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be done on the basis of test/interview.

Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format as given in notification. Application Form, duly complete in all respect along with attested copies of all required Certificates/Documents, 1 self addressed envelope with postal stamp worth Rs.5/- and 2 recent passport size photograph should be submitted to the Commandant, Parachute Regiment Training Centre (PRTC) JC Nagar Post, Bangalore – 560006 within 20 days from the date of publication of the advertisement. Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of ________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
