Punjab Police Recruitment 2016 for 750 Constable Posts – Vacancy Details

Name of the Post: Constable (Driver)

Number of Posts: 750

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification for Constable Post:  Candidates must have minimum educational qualification of 10+2 pass. Candidate must also have Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent exam in Punjab Language. Candidates must also have a minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches. Valid driving license for LMV/ LMV-NT/ HMV is also required.

Age Limit: 18-28 years

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Substance Abuse Test (SAT), Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The Board will also conduct written test of 50 marks which will be followed by Driving proficiency test.
