For the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) retest the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has set strict dress code that needs to be followed along with other guidelines in order to prevent cheating in examination. Due to the cheating racket which spread almost all over the country during the AIPMT examination this year, the board has taken extra care to not leave any loopholes this time. They are taking all possible measures to ensure conducting examination with all possible security options.
Advising on the dress code the board mentioned the candidates to wear trousers, a half sleeve kurta or t-shirt and flip flops. The candidates cannot wear any shoes, belts, scarves, caps or even clothes with large buttons or badges. Not only clothes, but the board has declared the candidates cannot even wear any religious charms or ‘magic’ amulets/jewellery. Checks would be done for all type of accessories such as earrings, nose rings, necklaces, brooches, chains, bracelets, pendants etc. as many gadgets looking like accessories are used by candidates for cheating purposes.
The board has not only instructed candidates to wear certain clothes, but has declared the pattern and color of the garments as well. It has been notified that the candidates would have to wear light colored clothes and there should be not flowers or other elaborate patterns in the garment that the candidates are wearing. As usual the candidates are not allowed to bring in any mobile phones, Bluetooth headphones, ear phones, microphones, pagers or any metallic item or gadget. The retest for the AIPMT would take place on July 25.
