RRB Group D Selection Procedure 2025

The RRB Group D exam will be conducted in three phases: a computer-based test, a physical efficiency test, and document verification. Check the details below

Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT-1)

Duration: 90 minutes

Question Format: 100 MCQs (25 each in Mathematics and General Science, 30 in Reasoning, 20 in General Awareness)

Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answers, -0.33 for incorrect responses

Qualifying Marks: Varies by category (typically 40% for General, 30% for OBC/SC/ST)

Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

For Male Candidates:

35kg weight lifting (5 repetitions in 2 minutes)

1km run in 4 minutes 15 seconds

For Female Candidates:

20kg weight lifting (5 repetitions in 2 minutes)

1km run in 5 minutes 40 seconds

Stage 3: Document Verification & Medical Examination

Successful candidates must present original documents and undergo a comprehensive medical assessment by railway authorities.
