Eligibility Criteria for Sahitya Akademi Senior Library and Information Assistant and Other Posts:

Educational Qualification:

• Senior Library and Information Assistant- Master of Library Science. Working knowledge of one or two Indian language in addition to mother tongue

• Technical Assistant- Graduation or equivalent. Diploma in Book Publishing. Five year’s experience in a printing or a publishing house or a Government undertaking concerned with book publishing. Knowledge of various processes of printing and book publishing. Good knowledge of one or more language and literature with ability to edit literary material. Basic knowledge of computer application

• Publication Assistant- Graduation or equivalent. Diploma in Printing or five years experience in a printing or a publishing house or a Government undertaking concerned with book publishing. Knowledge of various processes of printing and book publication. Good knowledge of one or more language and literature with ability to handle literary material.  Basic knowledge of computer application

• Multi Tasking Staff-10th pass or ITI equivalent. Multi Tasking Staff with one employee  performing jobs hitherto performed by different Group D employees

Age Limit: Upto 30 years (Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women, as per Govt. Rules)
