SAIL, Bokaro notified recruitment for 41 Doctors and Paramedical staff vacancies

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a Government of India Enterprise issued notification for recruitment of 7 Medical Officers with its Bokaro Steel Plant and Steel Refractory Unit, (SRU) and to 34 posts of Paramedical staff with its Bokaro General Hospital & its Health Centres. Age will be reckoned as on 1 May 2013. Upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC / ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Written Test / Interview.

Date, time and venue for Written Test and Interview will be intimated to eligible shortlisted candidates through e- mail / SMS / updated on SAIL website.

Candidates will be allowed to appear in the Written Test / Interview only if they possess the valid Photo Admit Card which will be available for download from the SAIL website.

Candidates will be required to produce all documents for verification at the time of Interview.

Final selection is subject to candidate being found medically fit by the Medical Officer of the Company.

Candidates selected as Trainees against posts with Grade S3 & S1 (Non-Executives) will be under Training for a period of 2 years. During training candidates selected for S3 grade will be paid consolidated amount of Rs.10700 pm for 1st year and Rs.12200 pm for 2nd year while candidates selected for S1 grade will be paid consolidated amount of Rs.8600 pm for 1^st year and Rs.10000 pm for 2^nd year. On successful completion of training they will be regularized in their respective grade.

Application fees: Non-refundable application fees has to be deposited with any branch of State Bank of India in a specially opened account SBI Power Jyoti A/c No. 31877168126 maintained at SBI sector 4, B.S.City branch, on behalf of SAIL/Bokaro Steel Plant.

The fees have to be deposited using the printout of the pay-in-slip available for download on the Application Registration Portal. The Pay-in-Slip can be downloaded from the SAIL website after filling in the required details. On receipt of the money the concerned SBI branch will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the branch collecting the money. This Journal Number and Branch Code are to be filled up in the online application form by the candidate during online registration.

Applicable Registration / Processing Fees:

Candidates will have to pay Rs.20 as Bank Charges to the collection branch of SBI in addition to the applicable registration / processing fee.

Candidates should retain a copy of their Pay in Slip and Registration Slip for future reference.

How to apply: Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online only through SAIL’s website: www.sail.co.in till 8 July 2013.

Candidates will have to upload their latest passport size photograph and scanned copies of signatures and pay-in slip (.jpg or jpeg file only, of less than 500 kb size) with the application form. They are not required to send any document to SAIL.

After applying online, candidates are required to download the system generated Pay-in slip / Registration Slip with Unique registration number and other essential details and retain it for future reference.

Candidates should have an active valid e-mail ID as all correspondence with candidates will be done through e-mail only. All information regarding examination Schedule / admit card / interview call letters etc. shall be provided through email / uploaded on SAIL website. Candidates will be required to download and print the admit card / Interview call letter / any documents, as and when required. Candidates should, therefore, regularly visit the SAIL website to keep themselves aware with all updates.
