SBI Clerk Result 2018 will be releasing today, i.e. 20 July 2018. As per media reports, the result was expected to be released this week quite earlier, but no such statement has been issued by the Bank body. The main examination is scheduled to be conducted on 05 August 2018.
This year the expected cut-off is to increase by 30 to 40% than last year cut-offs. This rise in cut off is to be seen in category and in overall state wise. An expected high cut off this year is considered for these two reasons- decrease in number of candidates shortlisted and lesser number of vacancies as compared to last year. This year SBI Clerk Exam 2018 was conducted to fill up 8301 posts of Junior Associates.
SBI Clerk 2018 written exam was conducted on 23, 24 and 30 June 2018 across the country at the designated centers. The SBI Clerk examination was conducted in four different slots. The examination was conducted to fill up 8301 posts of Junior Associates. The examination comprised of three sections- General English, Reasoning Ability & Numerical Ability. The total marks consisted of 100 and time duration was for 2 hours.
Those candidates who will qualify the preliminary examination, as per the SBI Clerk Result 2018, will have to appear for Main Examination. The SBI Clerk Main Examination 2018 will be conducted on 05 August 2018. The qualified candidates will be appointed after interview session and document verification.
The appeared candidates can check their respective results once out from the official site of SBI, i.e. sbi.co.in. The result link will be generated once it is live for candidates to click on it and get the result. Keep a saved copy of the result as well for further reference.
Candidates who have appeared in the Preliminary Examination should also know a bit about the expected cut off. Cut-off of any competitive exam depends on the difficulty level of questions besides the number of vacancies (region-wise) and number of candidates appeared for the exam. SBI Clerk Prelims exam 2018 was easy as compared to last years and on an average, each candidate attempted 70+ questions (with high accuracy).
