Scholarships for Indian Students offered by University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh is offering 15 Masters degree scholarships for students from India for postgraduate study in any subject offered by the University for the 2011-2012 academic session.

Financial support: Each scholarship will have a value of around Rs 2.20 lakh each and will be tenable for one academic year. Preference will be given to candidates who have not already had the opportunity to study in Scotland.

Eligibility: Applicants must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree. The scholarships will be awarded to students who have accepted admission for a Masters programme of study at the University.

Procedure: The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. A completed application form must be received by the University scholarships and student funding services by April 1, 2011.
