The School of Medical Science and Technology, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has brought out a masters degree in Medical Science and Technology (MMST) . The masters course is going to be a three year program for medical graduates (MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India), with the aptitude for interdisciplinary medical research and application of technology in medicine.
All the candidates admitted to the program are offered an assistantship of 15,000 rupees per month. Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy) candidates and persons with disability (PD) as per the government rules.

How to Apply
Candidates have to apply online, via the website. Also the demand draft of Rs 1200(600 Rs for SC/ST/PD category, female candidates are exempted from paying the fee) drawn in the favor of ‘IIT Kharagpur’ and payable at Kharagpur in any nationalized bank, should be sent along with the printed online form.
