Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) invited online applications for the post of Assistant Professor. Eligible candidates can apply to the post in the prescribed format on or before 13 April 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor Post

Educational Qualification:

• Tibetan Grammar - Masters Degree in Tibetan Grammar with minimum of 55% marks or from a recognized University (5% relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/Differently-abled).
• Buddhist Astrology - Masters Degree in Tibetan Astrology with minimum of 55% marks or from a recognized University (5% relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/Differently-abled).
• Nyingma Philosophy - Masters Degree in Nyingma Philosophy with minimum of 55% marks or from a recognized University (5% relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/Differently-abled).
• Buddhist History - Masters Degree in Nyingma Philosophy with minimum of 55% marks or from a recognized University (5% relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/Differently-abled).
• Buddhist Philosophy - Masters Degree in Nyingma Philosophy with minimum of 55% marks or from a recognized University (5% relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/Differently-abled).

Other Qualifications:

• Should be conversant with the customs and usages of Sikkim
• Should have knowledge of any of the State Languages, viz. Nepali, Sikkimese, Bhutia, Lepcha or Limbooo
• Should have valid local Employment Card.
• In case of candidates applying for the post of Lecturer in Buddhist Philosophy, History and Tibetan Language, the candidate should be an ordained monk of Nyingma lineag

Age Limit:

21 to 40 Years

Rs. 150/- with additional bank charges may be paid online through credit/debit card, Net Banking by Visa/Mastercard. Candidates belonging to PWD Category are exempted from paying the fees.
