SSC CHSL Salary 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) for recruitment to various Group C posts such as Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). This year a total of 2536 vacancies would be filled across central government departments. The salary varies according to the post and pay level. Candidates selected for the LDC/JSA posts are placed under Pay Level 2 while those in DEO posts are placed under Pay Levels 4 and 5.
