SSC Constable GD in CAPFs and Rifleman GD in Assam Rifles Exam 2013: Cut Off Marks

    Staff Selection Commission has declared the results for open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constables (GD) in CAPFs & Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, 2013. The examination was conducted on 12 May 2013 for the candidates who qualified in PET/PST at different centers across the country. Out of a total 7, 14,211 candidates (both male and female) registered for the exam from different regions, only 6, 76,358 were actually appeared.  

    The minimum cut off percentage marks in the written examination is 33% for SC, ST and OBC candidates and 35% for UR and Ex-servicemen candidates.

    However, keeping in view the tentative vacancies in each State/UTs, the Commission has fixed the cut-off in a pre-defined state-wise manner for Male candidates. The minimum cut-off for UR/Ex-Servicemen goes to 35 marks and that 33 for OBC/SC/ST candidates.

    Additional candidates qualified against vacancies reserved for Naxal/Militancy affected Districts like Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Tripura.
