Syndicate Bank declared final result of Probationary Officers (PO) 2012

Syndicate Bank announced final result for recruitment of 1750 Probationary Officers on 5 June 2012. A total of 1672 candidates were selected on the basis of marks obtained in Common Written Examination (CWE) and interview held.

A little over 10,000 candidates were called for interview of which 1672 candidates were shortlisted provisionally for the position of PO by United Bank of India. The bank has withheld the result of those coning under 4.5% minority sub quota (out of 27% OBC quota) on grounds of the order of the Division Bench of the Hon'ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh that quashed the Memorandum providing for sub-quota for minorities (dated 22 December 2011). The withheld result will be released once the legalities are completed.
