Telangana Forest Department to announce for 2000 vacancies soon

In order to improve field level monitoring, Forest Department in the State of Telangana will take an effective step of recruiting for more than 2000 posts. This will include posts like forest beat officers, range officers, section officers, assistant forest beat officers and other posts.

Certain amendments have been made in the district structure of the organisation. Henceforth each district will have a district forest officer instead of the post of divisional forest officer.  The district forest officer will be in charge of all forest related activity.

As per the figure given by the Minister, near about 1800 vacancies will be at crucial field level which includes 552 vacancies of forest beat officers and 1305 vacancies in assistant beat officers.

A total of 67 and 90 vacancies will be available for range officer and section officer posts. The remaining 57 vacancy will be for other posts.

Though exactly not ascertained, candidates with minimum educational qualification of graduation/ postgraduation / senior secondary / secondary pass from a recognized Board or University will be eligible to apply for the posts.
