• Payment reference ID of the application submitted
• A copy of the printout of the Application form

The syllabi for Mathematics & Environmental Studies will be based on the topics of Classes I to V. The difficulty standard will be upto the Secondary Stage. There will be Multiple Choice Questions not only on content but also on Pedagogy. In Mathematics 24 MCQs will be on Content and 6 MCQs on Pedagogy. Similarly, in EVS, there will be 24 MCQs on content and 6 MCQs on Pedagogy.

Candidates can not open the website of TS TET 2024 (tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet) on mobile. The site is compatible only with Google Chrome and Edge Brower Version and above.

• Open the question palette.
• Now, click on the question number in the question palette given at the right of your screen.
• Read that question and click on the button against the distractor/option you want to answer.
• Now, click on 'Save & Next' to save the answer.

• In case the examinee wants to review his/her question later, click on Mark for Review & Next.
• To save the answer, click on the Save & Next button.
• To change the answer to a previously answered question, first select the question, then follow the same steps as before.

Yes, blank papers will be provided for rough work to the candidates. The candidates have to handover the rough sheets to the invigilator after the end of the test.

The syllabi for Language I & II will be based the class 10th level i.e. on proficiency in the Language, Elements of Language, Communication and Comprehension abilities.

No, there will be no negative marking in the exam. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.

The timer will be provided on the top right corner of the screen. When the exam is started, the remaining time will be shown in the top right corner of the screen. When the countdown timer reaches zero, the exam will be over.

The subjects in the exam will be available on the top bar of your computer screen. To view the questions in a subject, click on the section name. The section that the candidate is currently viewing is highlighted. They can shuffle among subjects and questions any time.

There are 8 languages in the exam i.e. Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Marati, Tamil and Gujarati.

TSTET consists of two papers. Paper 1 will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for the 1st to 5th Class while Paper 2 will be for a person who wants to be a teacher for the 6th to 8th class

Paper 1 is scheduled to be held on 30 May, 31 May, 01 June, and 02 June,  Paper 2 for Maths and Science Subjects will be conducted on 20 May, 21 May, 22 May and 01 June and Paper 2 SSt on 24 June, 28 June and 29 June 2024. 

The Commissioner and Director of School Education, Government of Telangana will release the admit card of all the applicants who are going to appear in the exam in the evening. The link will also shared once the admit card is available.

The question paper will be in English and Language 1 except Sanskrit. Those who have choosen Sanskrit, the questions will be in Telugu followed by Sanskrit (Devanagari script).

TET score will have 20% weightage in the Teacher Recruitment Test in the State of Telangana.

If candidates are not able to download the Hall Ticket, they can contact the Director, SCERT & Ex-officio Director, TS- TET in the O/o SCERT, Opp. L.B.Stadium E Gate, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad – 500001 between 10.30 A.M. and 5.00 P.M. on all working days before 03 June 2024 in person. They should carry their journal number of the fee paid, payment reference ID of the application submitted, a copy of the printout of the Application form and one photograph.

Candidates will be given 30 questions of 30 marks in Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, and Language II – English while 60 question in Mathematics and Science/Social Studies/other subjects.

Paper 1 consists of 150 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and the duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The questions will be asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2 English, Mathematics, and EVS. Each subject will have 30 MCQs to be completed in 30 marks.

The candidates should carry the printout of the hall ticket at the exam centre along with a valid ID proof. They will be not allowed at the exam centre otherwise.

The passing for all the categories is provided below:

• For General Category - 60% or 90 marks
• For BC Category - 50% or 75 marks
• For SC/ ST/ Differently abled (PH) -  40% or 60 marks

The exam will be held in computer-based mode only. There will be no offline mode of the exam. The candidates can check the details on their admit card.
