United Bank of India has announced recruitment of 450 Probationary Officers) on 21 February 2012. The recruitment process of the bank will start from 24 February 2012 and will end on 3 March 2012

United Bank of India has announced recruitment of 450 General Banking Officers in Scale-I (Probationary Officers) on 21 February 2012. The recruitment process of the bank will start from 24 February 2012 and will end on 3 March 2012.

Candidates who have completed their graduation with minimum 55% marks and possess a valid IBPS Score can apply for the post. The Total Weighted Score (TWS) required from General Category candidates is 138 and score for Reserved Category (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD) candidates is 125.

United Bank of India (UBI) is one of the 14 major banks which were nationalized on July 19, 1969. Its predecessor the United Bank of India Ltd. was formed in 1950 with the amalgamation of four banks. The bank has more than 1600 branches and offices and is having a Total business of more than Rs 1 lac crore. Presently the Bank is having a Three-tier organisational set-up consisting of the Head Office, 32 Regional Offices and the Branches.
