The University College Dublin (UCD) has stepped ahead and announced the Scholarships worth 300,000 euros in both undergraduate and Master’s programs, meant to be offered to Indian Students.
This move will assist additional students, belonging to India to pursue studies in both graduate and postgraduate programs from University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland.
The expansion of UCD’s scholarship base will accentuate its commitment to Indian students in the best way, by clearing obstaclesin respect to apply to Ireland’s and UCD for studies.
Currently UCD has a total strength of 26000 students, among which 260 belong to India. Overall, international students studying in the University sums up the strength to 5500, who will receive the degree from 'Ireland's Global University.
This launch of scholarship program is expected to double the current figure of foreign students coming from India, in all programs, especially those programs to which students do not apply in majority.
The programs in UCD on offer are from areas ofpolitics and international relations, languages, IP & IT Law, besides, mostly opted programs such as mechanical engineering, computer science, biotechnology and public health, informed Jeremy Simpson, associate dean of international studies in University College Dublin.
The scholarship fund is approximately more than Rs. 25203300, to be offered to around 100from India. Anassortment of scholarship options can be availed that may include full tuition fee scholarship ,half Tuition fee waiver scholarship, 25% scholarships to even bursaries of 2000 Euros.
