UPSC Cutoff 2023 Out: Check CSE Minimum Qualifying Marks

UPSC Final Cutoff 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final cutoff for the Civil Service Examination (CSE) on its official website - upsc.gov.in. UPSC has released the category wise cutoff marks for preliminary, main and interview. The UPSC has also released the final result of the CSE examination, in which a total of 1016 candidates were selected, with 180 for IAS, 37 for IFS, 200 for IPS, 613 for Central Services Group ‘A’ and 113 for Group ‘B’ Services finding their names in the merit list.

Various factors were considered when determining the cutoff the number of test-takers, vacancies, difficulty level, etc. The cut off marks vary for each category, such as general, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS. UPSC Final Cutoff 2023

This year the cutoff of prelims for the general category is lower as compared to the previous three year cutoff which is 75.41. The cuoff for 2022 was 88.22, 2021 was 87.54, 2020 was 92.51. As per the past trends, this is the lowest cutoff in the past five years.

This year the cutoff for the mains exam is also lower than the previous 2 year cutoff which is 741. The minimum qualifying marks for the main examination of 2022 and 2021 was 748 and 745 respectively.
