About WBJEE Exam

WBJEE is a common entrance examination held at state level for admission to the Undergraduate Level Engineering and Medical courses in the State of West Bengal. The WBJEE engineering entrance exam has two sections – Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The Mathematics section of WBJEE 2015 engineering entrance exam consists of 80 questions.

The data in the question can be represented through Venn Diagram as;

From the above Venn diagram the percentage of the family owns a car or a house but not both is

(40 + 10)% = 50 %

29. The letters of the word COCHIN are permuted and all the permutations are arranged in alphabetical order as in English dictionary. The number of words that appear before the word COCHIN is

(A) 360

(B) 192

Now, fixing CC the remaining 4 letters O, H, I and N can be arranged in 4! ways.
