Eligibility Criteria for Recruitment in WBSSC

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in General Stream in Arts/ Science/ Commerce as Regular/ External/ Private candidate or through Distance mode of Education/ Correspondence course with Degree in Library Science as Regular/ External/ Private candidate or through Distance mode of Education/ Correspondence course

Note: The above mentioned criteria of marks shall not apply to a Headmaster/ Headmistress in approved service in Junior High/ High/ Higher Secondary School

• Age Limit (as on 1 January 2012): Minimum 20 years; Maximum 40 years

Selection Procedure for Recruitment in WBSSC

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Personality Test and Written Test scheduled to be held by the WBSSC

Application Fee: Rs 250 (Rs 80 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) in the form of Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank in West Bengal in the name of "West Bengal Central School Service Commission" payable at Kolkata
