The registration process for JEE Main April 2019 has been already started by the national testing agency. The April phase is the second or final phase of JEE Main 2019. As per the information shared by the national testing agency a total of 9,41,117 candidates appeared for JEE Main (I) 2019. The number is definitely going to be increased in April exam as that will be the final phase. Those candidates who have already appeared in JEE Main January can reappear in April exam for improving their NTA scores. Also, the candidates who could not appear January exam, may also appear in JEE Main April 2019. The final merit list of JEE Main 2019 will be prepared after taking the student’s best of the two NTA scores. Before JEE Main (II) 2019, a lot candidates will be appeared for board exams 2019. As per JEE Main 2018 result, the minimum qualifying marks needed to qualify for JEE Advanced 2018 is 81 for students belonging to general category. Students who secured rank among Top 224000 students in JEE Main were allowed to appear for JEE Advanced 2019. As per Union HRD Minister Mr. Prakash Javdekar “The 10% reservation (for EWS section of General Category) will be implemented from the 2019 – 2020 academic session itself. Nearly 25 per cent seats will be added to ensure that the reservation does not disturb the existing quota for SC, ST and other categories. Therefore, due to increase in a number of candidates to be shortlisted for JEE Advanced, the cutoff marks of JEE Main can be low in comparison with last year.

1. Approximately 55% of the questions come from class 12 syllabus:
In JEE Main, 55% of the paper comes from class 12 while 45% of the paper comes from class 11 syllabus. If students prepared Class 12 syllabus well and attempt 85% questions correctly in JEE Main 2019, then they can easily score 150+ marks which is more than enough to qualify for JEE Advanced 2019.
2. CBSE board exams are based on NCERT books:
NCERT books are very important for board examination as well as JEE Main 2019. In JEE Main January exam, a lot of questions in Physics, Chemistry and Maths were directly taken from NCERT and NCERT Exemplar textbooks. Reading NCERT textbooks line by line will definitely help students to score good marks in JEE Main Result 2019. Also, NCERT books are prepared by experienced professors of colleges so there is a very rare chance of any error in NCERT books. Students can easily clear their fundamental concepts related to any topic with the help of NCERT books. 3. Focus only on Class 11 Syllabus:
After taking board exams Class 12 students have already completed 60% of syllabus of JEE Main. Therefore, after board exam, students need to focus only on Class 11 syllabus. But the span of time between JEE Main April and CBSE Board Exam is very less, therefore students should cover only important topics of Class 11.
