Eligibility Criteria for XAT Exam 2025

Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline. Those completing their final examination by June 12, 2025, may also apply. All Indian candidates must appear for XAT 2025. However, NRI and Foreign candidates may apply through GMAT scores.

XAT 2025 Exam Pattern 

Typically, the XAT syllabus is divided into three time-bound parts. Part I covers Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VA & LR), Decision Making (DM), and Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (QA & DI). Part II features a 5-minute mock keyboard test. Part III includes General Knowledge (GK) and Analytical Essay Writing (AEW). The following table provides an overview of the exam pattern for XAT 2025.

XAT Exam Marking Scheme

As per the marking scheme given in the official notification, each correct answer will earn 1 mark, and there is a 0.25 mark penalty for incorrect answers. Moreover, Negative marks will be awarded for each unattempted question after 8 unattempted questions: -0.10 marks.
