ACi Icon on 27 June 2012 launched low cost laptop Icon 1100 at the price of 4999 rupees in white colour in India. ACi is represented by Allied Computers International (Asia) Ltd. The company offers the product to Indian market at a low profit. The laptops will import from China. The company hopes to sell 2 lakh laptops in the first year in India.
ACi Icon 1100 has 10.2 inches LED screen with a resolution support of 1024x768 pixel display. It has 512MB of RAM (expandable up to 1GB) and 4 GB of storage (expandable up to 32GB). It runs on VIA CPU. Dimensions are 11x7.25x1 inches and its weight is 0.7 kgs. It has a MMC/SD push card reader, 10/100 Ethernet adapter, Wi-Fi, 3G support via USB dongle, 3 USB 2.0 ports with 12 months replacement warranty.
