Adani Enterprises, Rajasthan Government signed MoU to set up 10000 MW Solar Park

The project will help in producing 16644 million units of clean and green energy and help in reducing carbon footprint by approximately 16.2 metric tonnes.

The Rajasthan Government and Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) on 9 February 2015 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly set up India’s largest solar park with capacity of 10000 MW of electricity in Rajasthan.

MoU was signed by Adani Enterprises CEO Vineet Jain and Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Managing Director B K Dosi.

The joint venture project includes generation projects and a manufacturing unit for solar module, parts and equipments. The project will be completed in the next ten years.

Adani Enterprises Ltd, the flagship company of Adani Group will set up solar project of 5000 MW on its own in the next five years.

It is expected that the project will produce 16644 million units of clean and green energy and help in reducing carbon footprint by approximately 16.2 metric tonnes.
