The most awaited big fat Indian wedding took off on March 9, 2019 with Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta tying the knot at a hotel in Mumbai.

Akash Ambani is the eldest son of Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani and Shloka Mehta is the daughter of high profile diamond merchant Russell Mehta. The couple got engaged in July 2018.
