Air India is undergoing major transformations under Tata Sons' ownership. In a significant move, Air India Express has launched a new fleet of non-stop flights connecting Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi. This service marks Air India’s first international route from Bengaluru.

Bengaluru, the city of technology, now has over 200 Air India flights scheduled weekly, connecting 27 locations. This makes Bengaluru Air India’s largest base in the country. 

Air India’s Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi: Schedule

The newly launched Air India Express service offers direct flights from Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi, departing from Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at 3:25 PM and arriving in Abu Dhabi at 6:55 PM. The total travel time is approximately 3.5 hours, thus saving time for travellers.

Bengaluru is Air India Express's largest hub, with over 200 weekly flights connecting to 27 destinations. With the new service, passengers from cities like Ayodhya, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Pune, and Visakhapatnam can now travel to Abu Dhabi with a one-stop connection through Bengaluru. 

Additionally, Air India Express offers direct flights between Abu Dhabi and seven other Indian cities.

How Much Time Will be Saved with Direct Flights?

The introduction of direct flights significantly reduces travel time for passengers. Typically, flights connecting Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi with a one-stop itinerary take about 7-8 hours. However, the new direct flights will only take 3.5 to 4 hours, cutting travel time nearly in half.
