Cargotec tied up with Tata Communication to improve productivity and operational efficiency

Tata entered up in a tie-up with Cargotec, the provider of cargo handling solutions for ships, terminals, ports and local distribution to more than 50 nations of the world. Cargotec has its presence in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, America and Africa. The tie-up will help in boosting the productivity and operational efficiency of Cargotec and will be a support in streamlining of its supply chain management. Tata Communication, that has a global presence of its fibre optics cable network will be of a great help to Cargotec in extending wide area network (WAN) connectivity to more than 150 global  sites.  

Tata Communication is the world’s first company to have its own round-the-world fibre cable network. It also posses world’s largest sub-sea cable network. The company has a power to offer services in countries that represents 99.7 percent of the world’s GDP.
