The 38th edition of the National Games will be held from 28 January to 14 February 2025 in the state of Uttarakhand. Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha had met Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami in this regard. The programme is yet to be approved by the IOA General Assembly, which is scheduled to meet on October 25, 2024.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth more than Rs 7600 crore in Maharashtra through video conference. Also, PM Modi inaugurated the Indian Institute of Skills (IIS) in Mumbai.
