According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), with military expenditure of $83.6 billion in the year 2023, India was the fourth largest spender on defense in the world. According to the latest data from SIPRI, the United States, China and Russia were the top three military spenders in the world. According to the report, Ukraine will become the eighth largest military spender in 2023.

2. (b) IIT Jodhpur

The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) has signed an agreement to enhance the efficiency of networks in 5G and beyond. Under this, the focus will be on developing an automated service management system using AI. C-DOT is a telecommunication technology development centre owned by the Government of India.

Tata Power Solar Systems, India's leading solar energy company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power, has announced a strategic collaboration with leading bank Indian Bank. It aims to promote solar rooftop systems among residential consumers by providing financing solutions under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme.
