The Election Commission of India (ECI) on 16 May 2014 announced the results of the 2014 assembly elections of Odisha. In a house of 147 assembly seats, Biju Janata Dal led by incumbent Chief Minister of the state, Naveen Patnaik emerged as the largest party by winning 117 seats.
Bharatiya Janata Party that won 10 seats stood at the second position.
