The Haryana government on 27 October 2013 fixed a target to achieve production of 127.48 lakh tonnes of wheat

The Haryana government on 27 October 2013 fixed a target to achieve production of 127.48 lakh tonnes of wheat during the ongoing rabi season 2013-14 (October-March) as against the production of 113.42 lakh tonnes in 2012.

During Rabi season 2013-14 target was set to produce 123.81 lakh tonnes of wheat over an area of 25 lakh hectares, 1.61 lakh tonnes of grams, 1.95 lakh tonnes of barley and 11000 tonnes of rabi pulses over 1.40 lakh hectares, 50000 hectares and 10000 hectares, respectively.

For the requirement of 1310000 quintals of wheat seeds, there is 1330259 quintals are available, for requirement of 24380 quintals of barley seeds, there is availability of 34693 quintals and as against requirement of 8000 quintals of grams, 11376 quintals of seeds are available.
