The third test match in the India- South Africa Test series played from 16 December 2010 to 6 January 2011 ended in a draw. The test series ended in a draw (1-1) with India and South Africa winning each of the earlier two matches played.
During the series, Sachin Tendulkar of India scored his 50th and 51st test century. Jacques Kallis of South Africa created a record by scoring his 40th test century on 5 January 201 in the final test match against India in Newlands. He is second in the list of cricketers who have scored sinificant number of tons in test cricket. Sachin Tendulkar leads the list with 51 test centuries to his credit.
