ING Vysya Bank, the private sector lender, on 1 August 2013 launched the premium debit card, which offers spend-based rewards programme. These debit cards are called ING MasterCard premium debit cards.
Features of ING MasterCard premium debit cards
• The ING MasterCard premium debit cards offer the choice of selecting the card background as well as spend- milestone based rewards programme, to the customers.
• This is a reward program which makes it easy for the customers to earn points as well as redeem these points for guaranteed rewards.
• The ING MasterCard premium debit cards will be available in three different variants- World Exclusive, My World and Titanium.
• The customers are free to choose the look as well as feel of the card from among an assortment of 50 images covering the areas such as lifestyle, entertainment and sports.
It is worth noticing that the number of Indian customers, who use debit cards for shopping, is increasing by 38 percent. However, only 18 percent of the reward points are redeemed by them.
