Dainik Jagran, an Indian Hindi-language daily newspaper on 29 April 2015 launched a fund raising donation program named Jagran Rahat Kosh. The funds collected under the programme will go for the Nepal earthquake victims.
To help the victims of the earthquake of Nepal, Jagran Praksahan Limited started the relief Kosh by contributing 1 crore rupees. It also appealed the countrymen to contribute whatever they can.
The collected money will be deposited in the Prime Minister Relief Fund for Nepal earthquake. The contribution amount will be tax free under Section 80(g) of Income Tax Act, 1961.
