Kerala Government approved proposal to start International School of Music in State

Kerala Government on 27 April 2013 gave an approval to a proposal  to start an International School of Music in the State.

Kerala Government on 27 April 2013 gave an approval to a proposal given by Sarod Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan to start an International School of Music in the State. Around three acres of land will be given in the Capital, for setting up an International School of Music.

The proposed School, planned on Gurukul model, will have students from all over the world, who are keen to learn Indian Classical Music. The support of Corporate Houses for funding the Music School will be sought.
