Men’s Single: Rafael Nadal of Spain defeated Czech Tomas Berdych in the men's final. With this victory Nadal’s Grand Slam number moved to 8. This is the second time he won the Wimbledon championship the first time being in 2008.
Women’s Single: Serena Williams from the US defeated Vera Zvonareva of Russia. This is William's 4th Wimbledon title.
Men’s Doubles: Bulgaria’s Jurgen Melzer and German’s Phillip Petzschner emerged winner in the men's doubles event defeating Robert Lindstedt of Sweden and Horia Tecau from Romania. It was the first tiltle for both.
Women’s Doubles: USA’s Vania King and Russia’s Yaroslava Shvedova emerged winner in the women’s doubles having defeated Elena Vasnina and Vera Zvonareva. It was their third tournament as a team and the first title earned together.
Mixed Doubles: In the mixed doubles Leander Paes of India and Cara Black of USA defeated Wesley Moodie from South Africa and Switzerland’s Lisa Raymond.

American John Isner defeated Nicolas Mahut in the longest match in tennis history. The match that lasted 11 hours 5 minutes and was stretched for three days finally came to and in the Wimbledon grass court on 24 June 2010.

Rohan Bopanna had reached the quarter finals of the men’s doubles with his Pakistani partner Ahsan-ul-Haq Qureshi.
Leander Paes along with his partner Lukáš Dlouhý was out after the second round of Men’s Doubles.
