Mohandas Pai stepped down from the Human Resources chief in Infosys on April 15, 2011. Mr. Pai intended to take over a role of promoting education. He has already been into the boards of many universities and now plans to carry on his efforts to promote higher education in the state and also be part of policy formulation for education. He resigned from his post to focus on Higher education, as it the most important area at present.
