Five judges Constitutional bench to decide on Hindu women's right to temple
A 5-judge Constitutional Bench will decide whether the women’s fundamental right to pray at the place of their preference can be overruled on the ground of religious belief “biological factor exclusive to the female gender”. The matter was a referred to this bench by Supreme Court of India.

The 5th India-Sri Lanka Joint Training Exercise MITRA SHAKTI 2017 started on 13th October 2017 with a grand Opening Ceremony conducted at Aundh Military Station, Pune. This India- Sri Lanka exercise is based on Counter Terrorist Operations. The Infantry company from India- Sri Lanka is taking part in the same.
IMF favors three structural reforms in India
The IMF has suggested a 3-pronged approach for structural reform in India that includes:
1.addressing the banking and corporate sector weaknesses,
2.continued fiscal consolidation through revenue measure, and
3.Improving the efficiency of labour and product markets.
