Narendra Modi Election Result 2024: All eyes are on the Varanasi Lok Sabha Election, with the Prime Minister of the country as a candidate. The result will be declared on the official website of the Election Commission of India i.e. www.eci.gov.in/ and results.eci.gov.in. He is competing against Ajay Rai of Congress, Ather Jamal Lari of the Bahujan Samaj Party, Gagan Prakash Yadav of Apna Dal (Kamerawadi), Dinesh Kumar Yadav, and Sanjay Kumar Tiwari, making this election the center of attention altogether. 

The support from across the district is strong for Modi Ji, and predictions are high for a repeat of the 2014 and 2019 results. However, in 2004, Congress's Rajesh Kumar Mishra secured the seat.

Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, has been representing the Bharatiya Janata Party from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, since 2014. Varanasi, revered as a holy Hindu town in Uttar Pradesh, has been a Bharatiya Janata Party stronghold since 1991.

Varanasi 2024 Election: This year, a total of 41 candidates including comedian Shyam Rangeela had filed their nomination from the constituency. However, only seven candidates came into the picture. Varanasi 2014 Election:  In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Ajay Rai contested from Varanasi on a Congress ticket and came third. He got 7.34 percent votes. At that time, Aam Aadmi Party head and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal contested against PM Narendra Modi. He got 20.30 percent votes and came second. Prime Minister Modi got 56.37 percent votes and won against Arvind Kejriwal by a margin of more than 3.70 lakh votes.

Narendra Modi Political Career

Narendra Damodar Das Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat. His early life was marked by struggle, and he left home at the age of 17. By the age of 20, he became a regular member of the RSS. In 2001, he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat and continued in this role for three terms.

On May 26, 2014, he was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India.
