New Flights Will Boost Odisha's Growth
In addition to being convenient for travelers, the new airline services from Bhubaneswar Airport will significantly enhance Temple City's significance as a regional transportation center.
“It is anticipated that these improved airline connections will greatly increase tourism and business throughout the state. The availability of belly cargo on these aircraft will also give agricultural produce transportation and growth a big boost, which will further boost Odisha's economic development," stated Odisha's CM Mohan Manjhi.
In an effort to accelerate Odisha's growth, the administration of Mohan Majhi is encouraging direct flights to more Indian cities. Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda recently announced direct flights to Hyderabad, Raipur, Lucknow, and Mumbai.
Odisha's New Destination Policy
The recently adopted New Destination Policy in Odisha is encouraging airlines to increase their operations at Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda airports. According to Pradhan, the foundation for the flight services has already been established.
