GPT-4o mini will cost:

• 15 cents per million input tokens
• 60 cents per million output tokens

These million tokens are about the same as 2,500 pages in a standard book.

The initial model of GPT-4o mini can handle text and vision in the API. OpenAI has promised that the company will include support for text, image, video, and audio inputs and outputs in future versions.

• Can support up to 16K output tokens per request
• More cost-effective handling of non-English text
