Parliament rejected Pakistan's Resolution on Afzal Guru and claimed it an Interference

The Parliament rejected the resolution passed by Pakistani National Assembly claiming it interference in India’s Internal Affairs.

The Parliament of India on 15 March 2013 rejected the resolution passed by the Pakistani National Assembly on execution of the 2001 Parliament Attack mastermind, Afzal Guru.

The resolution was unanimously passed by both the houses of the Parliament, which termed it interference in the Internal Affairs of India. India warned Pakistan, to keep itself away from such acts of supporting the extremists and terrorist groups. The resolution also cleared that Jammu and Kashmir along with its illegally occupied territories of Pakistan is and shall always be an integral part of India.

The nation also called off the bilateral Hockey series between the two nations that was supposed to be held from 5 April to 15 April 2013. The hockey series was called off following the instructions from the External Affairs Ministry.
