Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, a Navratna company owned by the government, on 28 February 2012 appointed R.P. Singh as the Director (Personnel) of the company. He would assume the charge from 1 April 2012.
The Ministry of Power confirmed the appointment of Mr Singh who holds the position of Executive Director of the company at present.
He would take the charge for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post on or after April 1, 2012 or till the date of superannuation.
Mr Singh would replace V.M. Kaul, present Director (Personnel), who is superannuating on 31 March 2012.
