Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) on 23 March 2014 won the 4th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship (Division A) in Bhopal. To clinch the title, it defeated defending champions Haryana 4-0.

• First and second position was claimed by: the winner and runner-up
• Third position in the tournament went to: Jharkhand by defeating Punjab 5-0
• Fourth position went to: Punjab
Railway Sports Promotion Board
A formal set up for organization of sports on Railways came into existence with establishment of the Indian Railways Athletic Association in 1928. The name was changed to the Railway Sports Control Board (RSPB) in 1956 and to Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) in 1998 so as to bring the nomenclature in tune with the functions of the Board.
