The Korean electronics company, Samsung on 28 may 2013launched a new handset model Samsung GALAXY Mega in Indian market.
The GALAXY Mega will be available in two variants, with a price range of 25100 and 31490 rupees respectively.
Specifications of the GALAXY Mega
• It is Powered by Android Jelly bean 4.2 (rpt) 4.2 operating system with a dual core processor,
• It has has a 8 mega-pixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixel front camera and comes with upto 64 GB expandable memory.
• It is very light and thin for incredible portability and is easy to use.
• The company is also retailing the GALAXY Mega with a special offer from Reliance and Vodafone.
The company has been expanding its service network continuously. It is important here to note that Samsung India currently holds 47.4 per cent market share in smartphone market while it is 43.8 (RPT) 43.8 per cent in overall mobile phone market. On sales of its latest handset Samsung GALAXY S4,the company had sold 10 million units worldwide.
