Tetsuya Takano resigns as Chairman of Ricoh India Ltd

Takano's resignation came following the disclosure of Ricoh India that found its accounts falsified and estimated to incur a loss of 1123 crore rupees for the fiscal year that ended 31 March 2016.

Tetsuya TakanoTetsuya Takano on 25 July 2016 resigned as the Chairman and Director of Ricoh India Ltd. Takano was succeeded by Ian Peter Winham with immediate effect.

About Ian Peter Winham

• Winham joined the Ricoh Group in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in 2002 as CFO.
• He was appointed Executive Vice President, CIO and CFO of Ricoh Europe in 2007.
• In 2014, he took on a global role as Head of Global Capital Management.
• In April 2016, he was appointed Corporate Vice President of Ricoh Company Ltd.
