China's Chang'e 5 lands on moon successfully to bring back lunar rocks to Earth
China's Chang'e 5 probe successfully landed on the Moon on December 1, 2020. The lander will drill into the lunar surface for two days and will collect 2 kgs of rocks and debris. The Chang'e 5 mission was launched by China on November 24, 2020 to bring back the lunar rocks to Earth for the first time since the 1970s.
The United Kingdom on December 2, 2020 granted its approval to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for use against the COVID-19 pandemic. With this, the UK has become the first country to approve the Pfizer vaccine. The approval was given by British regulator Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

The Karnataka High Court recently ruled that the right to marry the person of choice, irrespective of the cast or religion, is a fundamental right. The ruling was given by a bench comprising Justices S Sujata and Sachin Shankar Magadum.
